PEOPLE WITH HAMMERS TO WORK ON THE SIDING AND RAMPS
PEOPLE WITH VINEGAR TO CLEAN WINDOWS AND SURFACES
PEOPLE WITH PAINT BRUSHES TO PATCH UP THE HALLWAYS
PEOPLE WITH BUCKETS AND MOPS TO CLEAN THE CLASSROOMS AND BATHROOMS

LET YOUR CLASS TEACHER KNOW WHEN YOU WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND

The Annex

Our lovely portable building has a new name. The Annex and both classrooms are now in use,  complete with blackboards, new desksand finished floors.The teachers and children love the space, especially when sunshine pours through the south facing windows. There is still work to be done: some insideshelving and baseboards, clapboard and outside trim, and permanent steps and a ramp.

The Grades 3-4 children will lend a hand with the landscapingduring their Home Surroundings Block later this spring. Grades 4,5,6 children with their teacher Bev Shaw held a thank-you ceremony on March 5thcomplete with songs, a Greek poem to recognize the heroic work that has made all this a reality, and a delightful drama focusing on some of the highlightsof the project. Seeing the happy, grateful children made all the work worthwhile.
