The running of our School and Kindergarten is entirely self-funded through tuition fees and fundraising activities. No child is denied a Waldorf Education at the South Shore Waldorf School and Kindergarten based on financial reasons. It is because of this that fundraising is so important to us as a school and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helps, no matter how big or small the donation. If you would like to help our school and make a donation please read on below to see how you can help make a difference. Donations are tax deductible. 2011/12 Tuition Assistance Program - Support our Giving Tree! The South Shore Waldorf School provides an enriched curriculum, including arts, music, handwork, foreign languages, drama, movement and outdoor play. We offer a Kindergarten pragram for children aged 3 - 6 and an interdisciplinar, arts-based curriculum for grades 1 through 6. Join our Borrowing CommunityOur new classrooms are complete and our grade 3 - 6 classes are enjoying their new space, however we still need to raise funds for the financing of it. We have tried a new way of financing community projects, one which is becoming increasingly popular in Europe, it is known as A Borrowing Community. This is proving to be very successful, however we still need people to join and help minimize the impact on our operational budget. Approximately 30 people, each making a pre-financed donation to the South Shore Waldorf School will make it possible. By joining the borrowing community you will revceive a donation receipt of either $1500 or $3000. For more information on how this works and how you can help and join those who are already part of our circle please click on the image for more information. |
